Integrated Management System (IMS Policy)

Emirates National Schools are committed to ensuring that services provided consistently meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, promoting continuous improvement, and enhancing customer satisfaction, in addition to the prevention of injury and ill health to students, staff, visitors, contractors, and community. Also, committed to preserve the environment for future generations, to manage the world’s resources wisely and to make a positive contribution by improving its local area based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and OSHAD SF V3.1, federal and local laws, MOE requirements.

Provide adequate resources for achieving stakeholders’ satisfaction, health, safety, and preserving the environment objectives and ensuring employees are suitably trained and competent to carry out their work.

We are committed to creating a culture of quality, excellence, continuous improvement, health, safety, and environmental preservation in all aspects of the ENS’s operations, in coordination with the relevant departments.

Implement a waste management strategy that promotes reduction, reuse, or recycling of resources.

Engage and consult with employees on work related health and safety conditions and provide advice and supervision on occupational health.

Create a working and learning environment in which health, safety and environment considerations influence every aspect of the life of the schools and risks are reduced to a minimum.

Work with our stakeholders to share environmental awareness and good practice.

Ensure a systematic approach to the management of contractors at all facilities so that risks to safety and health of contractors, employees, students and the community are reduced.

Ensure incidents, injuries and occupational illnesses are reported, monitored and investigated to avoid recurrence.

Ensure all persons under the control of ENS are aware of their individual service quality, health, safety and environmental obligations.

Ensure students, staff, visitors and contractors care for both their own safety and that of others and comply with the safe systems of work in place at all schools.

Identify hazards, perform risk assessments appropriate to the activities and to implement the necessary controls.

Establish and periodically review objectives in line with the requirements of this Policy aiming to deliver continual improvement on Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment management system performance.

Communicate this Policy to all relevant stakeholders;
