Emirates National Schools requires students to earn fifty-eight Carnegie unit credits, in four years of high school (Grade 9 to 12) to graduate and receive their American Diploma or 60 credits to receive both American Diploma and the IB Diploma. In grades 11 and 12, students have a choice of taking International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Courses; Advanced Placement (AP) College Board Courses; and/or our standard ENS American Diploma college preparatory classes. These course selection patterns were developed to ensure that students who successfully pass IB and AP course exams will gain admission with advanced candidacy status at major colleges and universities throughout the world. WE have had numerous students take advantage of this situation since 2016 after our first IBDP exams were offered.
